A strong community is built on strong partnerships. I am honored to have the backing of leaders, neighbors, and organizations who believe in our vision for Panama City Beach. (If you would like to officially endorse Carlos's campaign for Ward 1, please fill out the endorsement form below.)
Mr. Sanchez fought for our country for over 23 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant (E-9) and an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician. His service included combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He is a uniquely qualified candidate, driven with true passion to serve his community.
– Bay County Republican Party
True public servants work hard and work for YOU. Carlos Sanchez served this country in the Air Force for 23 years as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician, and I am confident he will continue to serve our community with distinction in public office. His work ethic and sense of duty were obvious to me before the race. In his campaign, Carlos has conducted himself with the strength of character necessary to serve you as a City Councilman.
– Stuart Tettemer, Mayor of Panama City Beach, FL
I’m proud to endorse Carlos for Panama City Beach City Council, Ward 1. As a fellow Air Force veteran, I know the importance of our first core value: **Integrity First.** To me, Carlos embodies that value—doing what’s right, standing by your principles, and refusing to compromise them when pressure comes. Too often, special interests carry more influence in government than the people our public officials were elected to serve. I trust Carlos to put his community first, exercise independent judgment, and stand firm even when the right decision isn’t the popular one. His character is why he has my support.
– Jamie Warrick, Lynn Haven City Commissioner
He served over 20 years in the military. I know a leader when I see one. Most people don't realize how smart you have to be to be a bomb tech in the Air Force and Carlos spent over 20 years leading men and in saving lives and he's dedicated his life to public works. He has all the values that North Florida has wants in a leader.
– Former congressional candidate Luke Murphy
Carlos understands that the #1 function of government is public safety. And I know he will stand behind the men and women who keep Panama City Beach safe. That’s why he has my endorsement.
- Former congressional candidate Audie Rowell
I cant say enough about this man right here. Humble servant, intelligent leader and all around amazing human being. He has my full endorsement! – Jessie Barcala for Alabama State House of Representatives District 5
Carlos Sanchez is a uniquely qualified candidate for the Panama City Beach City Council in Ward 1, bringing over 23 years of distinguished military service as a Chief Master Sergeant (E-9) and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician in the United States Air Force. Having dedicated his life to high-stakes public safety, leading personnel, and saving lives under intense pressure, Carlos possesses the rare combination of intelligence, vision, and steadfast integrity that North Florida voters value. He has selflessly served as our nation's protector, he is now ready to serve his loddcal community with that same passion, discipline, and dedication on the City Council. Having served as USAF EOD, it had greatly prepared me to serve over 12 years as a City Councilmember and Mayor of a Florida City.
- Steven Osmer, Mayor of Satellite Beach, FL
